Help with a new hair style.?

I have a round face and seriously need a new hairstyle because mine is doing nothing to faltter my face at all. I've read up on what i'm meant to have and thats a long side fringe and layers. I have layers but they are so flat and just hang there.

Could I possibly have some hairstyle tips and pics would be very apprecciated =D.

Could I also have some tips on how to give my hair some volume, i can't leave the house with out straightening it.

have a blunt fringe cut with layers , but have the layers start really short then leave a layer of hair underneath just trimmed, so it will always have a shape to it

i try to avoid layers because when i straightened them they flick outwards........

id go for a chunky heavy side fringe or even a full fringe!
Go to the hairdressers and ask what they can do for you.
