well the first one was pretty curly and the way i get that hairstyle is first put some bumble and bumble styling cream in your hair while its wet (better if washed). Then once you've done that put some curl conscious in your hair (also when wet after washed). But if you don't want to buy these things then to get a somewhat curly hairstyle like the 2nd one, while your hair is wet you could brush it with a comb or brush and then wrap it in a towel and leave it in there for awhile. When you take the towel out, let your hair dry and it should be somewhat curly.
omg... my hair looks just like the first pic. I have very curly hair. I love it! but its very hard to handle cuz some times it curls the wrong way or it looks like crap. From experience, curly hair is hard to take care of, and you will get tired of it. Get a spiral perm! It's the perfect hair for you!

any type of shampoo/conditioner thats a curling help. instead of clipping your hair in the curling iron wrap it around it. thats what i do... it shouldd help
