I def. want a new hair style, what should I get?

I've had the same hairstyle since... 3rd grade and I'm in 9th grade now haha. I really want something different and unique. Nothing preppy. I have naturally outrageously curly, dark brown hair but I straighten it 24/7. Any suggestions? I want to go a little towards the emo/scene style because I like those. No, I cannot dye my hair black or any other color. I might be able to highlight it if I think it'll look good. So, any suggestions? Btw, I can't have anything super outrageous because my parents would obviously freak.I def. want a new hair style, what should I get?
You know you and me are so similar! Even I am thinking about getting a new haircut tomorrow. Anyway, I think with your hair you can get nice bangs. You said you straighten your hair 24/7 rite, I do that too...although not 24/7 but regularly still. And I agree it is a time consuming process especially with curly hair. So what you can do is, get bangs and just straighten them. Curly hair with straight bangs are the in thing all over the world and is surely here to stay.



Depending on your face type (like square, heart, oval, round etc.) the hairstylist will give you blunt bangs or side swept bangs etc. Make sure that you get blunt bangs only if you have a oval or round face. Side swept bangs are the best option for square and heart faces.

Get layers to thin out your hair a little. Highlights look great too.
