Im a 23 year old white male, blonde hair. for the last 5 years or so I've had the same haircut... i fade it with clippers, 3 on top and 2 on the sides and back. i let my hair grow out last time but could not think of any hair style that i liked so i went back to the normal buzz cut. I've always been one to change my style to match my moods, but now I'm finishing up my undergrad college life and entering the professional world. I'm looking for a professional chic 'do, but I don't know what to do with my hair!

I'm thinking of the chin-length bob either dark brown / red mix, or black hair? Some people have said my hair seems harsh when it's darker, but I don't feel like I'm taken seriously or am simply deemed unintelligible with blonde hair! Shorter hairstyles are really much more professional and mature. However, if you go with a longer style, wear it up. Avoid any style that is too cutsey. Avoid black hair; it tends to look harsh unless it is natural, and it is the one color you can't bleach out without frying your hair if you decide you don't like it. Try to keep your hair as close to your natural color as possible. What clothing you wear will also have an impact on how seriously people take you.
i really like your hair blonde. i think you should keep it the way it is in the pic. it makes your eyes stand out. but idk about the being taken seriously, blondes can be taken seriously. if you're around people who think less of you cuz you're blonde then they are ignorant and you shouldnt waste your time with stereotypical people. do whatever you think is best but i think you look beautiful blonde with long hair. i dont like the brown or red that much.
I think a bob would be cute yet professional looking What is your natural hair color? I think a black bob, if its a natural black color, will make a real statement. If your natural color is blond though when it starts growing out its going to look funny quicker. I would play it a little safer and go with a med brown color with red and blond highlights.

Well maybe a light to dark brown hair color. To the chin, bobs however are probably not the best hairstyle for the shape of your face. Try having your hair trimmed just below your jawline and keep it straight. If you want leave it shoulder length and pull it into a bun or have it layered for the young but professional look. You can always pull your bangs back an d give them a little bumo in the front which doesn't look as immature on college students. It's more sensible and your hair will be out of your eyes also. Hope this helps.

Any-who, if you had to move to the other side of your respected country for career reasons, would being close to a NHL team be a deciding factor for you?





The reason I am asking is I may be moving soon (in about a year), and I have choices of Oregon, Washington, BC, Yukon, and Alaska.So, I had to get a new hair style?
If you're moving from Florida, and you've been there for a while, as in long enough to have gotten acclimatized to the weather, you will hate the Yukon and Alaska after you lose the initial appreciation for the scenery. Being used to the Florida Air Force would come in handy, though. BC is absolutely beautiful, has an NHL team, and a lot of natural distractions. The Vancouver area is cultural phenomenon that some people may find a hindrance while others might enjoy it. Expensive though. Washington has some really nice places, like Steven's Pass from Everett to Wenatchee and the apple district. I absolutely hate the traffic along I-5 through Seattle, never seems to have any fluidity. Now Oregon. If I was moving from Florida, Oregon would be the spot. Cost of living is not outrageous, scenery is great and fishing is unreal if you like huge salmon. Klackamus Falls area is breathtaking. Weather is great for a western mountain area. People there seem unpretentious. Only thing missing is the NHL. Doesn't look like there are many hockey fans.So, I had to get a new hair style?

I'm already in a situation like your question is addressing. I have lived in downtown Chicago, about 4 blocks from the United Center for a little over 20 years. My company's HQ is in DC. They have asked me to take a position there a few times. I know you have to do what is responsible and best for your family but right now I have no kids to look after so I guess it may be somewhat of a factor until I have a family. Then priorities must change.
It would cross my mind. Living situation and career would win out in the end though. I lived all over the country due to my career and I have remained a devout Eagles and Flyers fan.
accually i did the opposite i move farther from my favorite nhl team. was in pittburgh last year all of 6 hours drive to det and now in anchorage ak all of a 15 hour flight haha come to alaska land of the midnight sun, home of combat fishing. and where u can play hockey just like its ment to be on a lake. serious what part of ak could give u some advice on rather or not its worth it, ie not in anchorage huge cultural shock. dont forget we dont have traffic jams and get to use the excuse im later for ..... cause a moose is outside my front door.








cme i left anchorage ak in march to go to ft myers fl i drove through a white out over the pass to haines to get on the ferry by the time i made it to fl a cold front followed me across the U S and had it a chilly 60 degrees in florida. needless to say i was only one in shorts and sweating, never got used to it and never tire of the scenery up here. and i think i know what pass u are talking about in washington isnt there a year round ski place around there and 5 miles later a white water rafting place.
I've seriously considered moving just so I could at least get all the televised games. (Yes, I have issues) No career reasons involved, I just look for reasons to move there. Then I'd probably spend my paychecks trying to get tickets for the game. So, to answer your question I think it would be a deciding factor for me. Personally, I'd go to B.C.

Having actually done that back in 1993 going from NYC to Las Vegas, I must admit that it wasn't. I didn't have a choice like you do, and I had to give up my Islanders season tickets in the exchange. Sometimes other things have to become more important in life by necessity. If you can manage to work it out, that's a great bonus!!

Mid twenties. I'd say lose the facial hair, it's scratchy on girl's faces and makes your face look dirty. I'd go into a nice salon and ask for a stylist who is about your age whose style you like - then ask her, they really have the best ideas about how to make people's hair look it's best - just don't piss her off or she'll give you a bad haircut for revenge.Ok im thinking about getting a new hair style..what do u suggest ladies?

I have natural and have very kinky, curly hair as well. I am so familiar with this problem.Before I give you any advice about products and such I have to tell you that it takes a while for the hair to be trained and once your hair is trained then it really doesn't matter what kind of products you use. In my opinion shampoo and conditioner is not such a big deal. I use Tresemme shampoo and conditoner,it is the best. I always use a leave in conditioner, as well as a heat protector spray by Tresemme. Also, rinse with tepid water, actually as cool as you can take it, it makes the hair shine. After that I use the leave in conditioner and the heat protector spray. I try to let my hair air dry as much as possible to illiminate the amount of heat. So, then I blow dry! This is when the Super Skinny Serum comes in to play, then I use a light oil, like Hot Six. Its a liquid, this helps to lubricate the hair so that it doesn't singe while flat ironing. Now, use a small amount of oil but for the first day it will seem a little heavy but not super heavy, you will still have major body. Always remember to wrap your hair at night with a soft/slick material so that it doesn't pull or split. One last thing, alot of people spend mucho bucks on expensive flat irons but I kid you not, I paid 15 bucks for my flat iron and it is the best one I have ever owned. I wouldn't make it without my flat iron. It is Andis and I purchased from Walmart.When I confused in any problem about hair %26amp; its groth problem I concerned this site:

I love it! In my opinion, it fully suits your face shape, it's edgy, it's cool, and it's really unique. Most people just won't try full bangs (they just stick with boring side bangs), but they look great on you! It really is very individualistic ; )

I feel like my hair is a real mousy brown and I am sick of the color and cut... I need something new. I'm going to get more highlights, but I don't know which color... should I go darker or lighter? or maybe come redish tones?

and would there be any good cuts that would look at least a little flattering on me? help!

hmm... layers. i think layers would look amazing on your hair. for color i would go darker because of your skin tone. probably dark brown low lights witth as you said a redish tone
You're so pretty!! I think you should get alot of layers, but keep the length... You should get golden highlights, one or two shades lighter than your hair. And, if you want to do reddish, get cinnamon colored. Nothin too red, or too dark becouse it will wash out your complexion. Some long side swept bangs would also look good. Good Luck! :o)
I would go shorter with your hair. You have a small face so going short will do you no harm. I would get the hair cut about shoulder length and a lot of different lengths of short, wispy layers angling toward your face. Not only will this look different and cute, but it will be easy to manage, as you could straighten it, or if you're having a lazy day, it could easily be pulled up.



As for color, I would go a little darker with the base color of your hair. Your hair looks like it's a lighter brown, and going to a richer, medium brown would be a nice idea. I would get highlights both darker and lighter. For the darker lowlights, I would get just one or two shades darker than the base color of your hair, so that the lowlights will look subtle and natural. For the lighter highlights, I would get a honey blonde color, which will be more dramatic than the lowlights. Also, If you'd like, you could get a few auburn highlights in the hair to bring out a little bit of red.

I need help deciding on a new hair style?

Okay so, after almost 14 years my parents have finally decided to let me do what I wish with my hair(Well, kind of). I never had an actual hair cut, just trims. And if you know me, you know I absolutely dread long hair. I want shorter hair, and I want them side bangs you see around, like on Lauren from The Hills. I need something parent approved, lol.



I have a big head, just to put that out. My hair is brown, and naturally turns to blondeish at the bottom. My part, parts best at the center but we can always change that right? It's straight, so people say. It's really thick, and ugh I just hate it hah.

you need layers!! How about a nice cut that layers around your face. You could have side bangs and then gradually get layers from that, and you could still keep a bit of lenght in the back. A bit of highlights wouldn't hurt. If you don't want anything too radical just get a few shades lighter than your own hair, but it would do a huge lot to give you're hair a bit more life. You're face is pretty, you definitely need to cut your hair quite a bit shorter, but layers will make it look nice, give character and frame your face nicely. Try it, you'll like it!! I used to have long hair like you as a teen and parents like yours, so this is tested and proved right!!I need help deciding on a new hair style?

I went through the same thing::: I was not allowed to cut my hair until 8th grade. Now, at 25, I have had several different lengths. I chop it off and then I always gravitate towards longer hair and longer layers b/c that is what works for me. Good LUck!!!
