Need tips on a new hair style please?

Im not the most stylish guy. I usually get short back and sides and trim on the top. I have had my hair shaved short before and apparently I suit my hair when I have short back and sides better. When I have short back and sides I never know what to do with my hair though. Do i gel the front up? do I do some sort of comb over? do i try to make it messy? I really dont know what to do with it and usually end up putting some gel in and just having a really boring look. I kinda wanted a short slick back but my hair just spikes up when I do that. Any advice?Need tips on a new hair style please?
Kind of hard to answer with no picture but try letting the back grow out a bit and then try slicking it up. The added weight should take care of the problem. Hope this helpsNeed tips on a new hair style please?
