Tips on a New Hair Style?

Here is a picture of me and my hair,

I despise my hair it is just so plain and boring.

I want to grow it long but dont know if it will look good.

Or the other option is to cut it, but cutting it is a drastic measure.

My face i guess is round, and it says that i should have volume on the top of my head to avoid having a small round face and balance the body and head.

Which i do believe i have a small face, do i?

But i do not know how to get my hair with volume if my hair is so straight and refuses to stay in volume.

Like one time when a hair salonist was teasing my hair to create a hump in the middle of my hair, it was difficult for her so i dont know if i could actually create volume.

So right - Longer layers around the face to lengthen your features, and shoulder length cuts that will help balance out your face



So wrong - Short crops, or extra long length without layers coz it'll enchants the roundness



The part - Side parts with a sweeping fringe will break up roundness

DO NOT cut it short. I made that mistake and a few days later, I was in tears that my hair was gone when they only had cut a few inches off.

What I think would look best on you is side swept bangs with the rest of your hair the same length. Don't get ';stair steps';(where they blend your bangs in with the length of the longer hair) Don't get layers because when you try to put it up, it looks all weird. If you can change the color, I would put blonde highlights in it.
i love long hair. i think u should grow it and then get lots and lots of layers. i think highlights would look nice too.
