Okay I absolutely HATE my hair. Yeah it may look nice in my avatar but only because it took me practically forever to straighten it. My hair is like freaking poofy and just huge and I guess frizzy. I don't know what to do. It isn't straight and it isn't massively curly, it is somewhere in the middle. When it's wet it looks nice but then after a while it just loses the waviness and becomes huge and really hard to handle. Before school starts I want a new hair style. I hate having to put my hair in a pony tail every day because it looks boring. Here is a picture of how it is

see, that poofy little ponytail, ugh I hate it. So any hair cut/styling ideas for the shape of my face. And any styling products to help it. Also how much does a straight perm cost? I asked my mom and she was kind of considering it but didn't completely say yes. Any hNew hair style...pleaseee?!?
well i`m at skool and i cant go on photobucket but your hair looks nice in your avatar and PLEASE dont get a straight perm because i wud do ANYTHING to have curly hair and you should b lucky you can have curly or straight hair [im guessing] ...soo dont mess it up ! its a good thing =] just buy a great straightener...we all don tneed 2 b liek these white folk wit straight hair AHHANew hair style...pleaseee?!?
a straight perm is probably only 20 to 30 bucks.
i would also probably suggest getting it thinned.
and get it done every so often.
i hate my hair to its also thick like yours, so some times i just keep it in a bun.
you can probably use gel if your going some whee, you can probably put some in your hair and on your pony tail or whatever and it will stay in place.
ur really pretty. however, i do understand about ur poofy ponytail. ur hair looks really good straight but straight perms are really expensive. if u get a really good straightener, it would make straightening ur hair easier. I recommend the Sedu straightener. It's kinda expensive but totally worth it. you'd also look really good with short, straight, kinda flippy hair like in the pic below. http://i.ivillage.com/BS/spring06package/a>
you'd also look good in low pigtail braids
I hope I helped.
you should by frutics frizzz control there only like $3.00 and use more conditioner so it wont frizz so much then try to put it in a half pony tail or then you can put it down but you may need to straiten it a little or try ths ome or leave it a little curly
Hair: I would suggest layers, maybe a fringe if you want to change your hair a bit. It's up to you, whatever you feel suits you best. Maybe long layers, and shorter at the top or you could try getting a fringe: side fringe or a full length one.
Frizziness: To calm the frizziness of your hair i would recommend you using John Frieda Frizz Ease hair products to tame the frizz.
I have found some pictures that may be helpful to you:

Good luck ;)
I think that you would suit a long bob which could be curled and made wavy as well as straightend , with a side fringe. Do you blow dry you're hair properly? invest in a good hairdryer which has an anti frizz system and a nozzle, also Paul Mitchell's super skinny serum is a great anti frizz product. I think straight perming can damage your hair alot so keep it in mind as a last option.
Good luck with the frizz battle:)
Yeah i had the same problem... I suggest u get a step cut done, with around 4 steps. This will make ur front hair shorter, and the steps make hair easier to manage. Also, when u open ur hair, the layers will make it look fab!! Just rememebr to apply a little conditioner on ur hair everytime u shampoo it. Best of luck! ^_^
ur a gorgeous girl and hear is what i think u shoud do. u can high light ur hair with brown. and the brown hylights u can curl them. another thing u can do is is part ur hair on the side and have a miley cyrus look. but trust me just play around ur hair a little and u will get results
my friend had the same problem and she got lots of layers to decrease thickness, and she uses mousse to make it curlier and decrease the frizz and poof. and she got side bangs and fringe to frame her face.
hope i helped.
and your hair looks great as it is.
I think your hair looks nice in those pictures, but you could get layers. Also, if you think your hair is to thick ask your salonist to 'thin' it for you.
Well I would trim the bangs on the side like half of your forhead not like a pot if you get me and trim the ends and if your mom says yes i'de permanently straighten it that would look nice and different!
get it cut like three inches with like alot of layers go to someone that does hair rely god and get a relaxer in it so it wont damage the hair o ya dont go to the salon to get it thinned either it will make it frizzier and ugly use good shampoo like garnier fructis head and shoulders something about repairing damaged hair sunsilk and dove repairing system relaxer is about 100 to 250 dollars and i did all of that and my hair used to be a poofy mess with a lot of curls and gel and moose wouldnt even hold it it took 3 hours for me to straighten my hair and now it on takes 45 minutes and it looks sooo cute and the thing is ur hair is damaged u need something to repair it like putting a lot of oil in ur hair but instead use the head and shoulders dry scapl care instead of oil heres the link http://www.headandshoulders.com/en_US/pr/a>
or go to this link and tell them the kind of hair u want http://www.headandshoulders.com/en_US/pr/a> good luck and hope i helped

Hey! I think your hair is really cute!! But if you want something that will help make it straight get some straightining spray and get a Andis Hair straightner.=]
I dont no the anser to this qwestion but you look very pretty
I think a layered bob would look great on you.
I sorta have the same problem as you. When i shower my hair is straight and then as soon as it dries up, my hair gets wavy (but not the cute good looking waves) but the frizzy ugly ones and i always wondered how in the world do i straighten them or make them look cute.
The first thing you must realize is that shampoo, although important, should not be your top priority. Instead focus on you hair tools and your hair products. This will help
Ok so the most inportant thing to get cute looking hair it to BLOW DRY IT!!!! After you take a shower brush/comb it and put a heat protecting product on it (i use ';Got2Be Crazy Sleek) which straightens your hair while activated with heat.
Then blow dry your hair BUT you MUST MUST MUST blow dry with the nozzle of the blow dryer facing down. If you don't have it facing down your hair will get messy and poofy/frizzy. Make sure to brush your hair (i use a paddle brush) while blow drying....until your hair is FULLY dry...you must brusgh and blow dry at the smae time. (If you want better results i would recommend a Round Brush also know as a Boar Brush) They use thes brushes in the salons and that is mainly the reason your hair looks so cute once you get it done at the salon. The only problem is it's kinda a hard brush to use (you have to learn how to blow dry while using that brush) and it takes more time.
Once you are down blow drying just straighten it as you usually would and the end result should be soft straight hair!
As for your hair cut, yes layers would be cute but layers also might cause you hair to get even more curly that what it already is. Just getting a trim and some side bangs would be just fine.
Oh and don't get me wrong, having curly/wavy hair is really cute but to get the right non-frizzy waves takes time. Find a good curling iron and after clow drying you hair (eventhough after it may seem poofy) you curl it and the poofiness goes away....or even if you hair is dry and frizzy and stuff instead of trying to straighten it, curl it. The poffiness will go away if you know how to curl your hair...if not...practise!
