New hair style. What should I do?

So, I've had the same hairstyle for like a year or so, and I feel like changing it up. I was kinda thinking I should move towards a cut that's short in the back and long in the front with a pretty straight edge. About shoulder length, I was thinking. I want something unique. I've got a ton of hair, and right now, the layers are thinning it out. But if I went for basically one layer, my hair would be pretty darn thick. I think that'd probably make a statement. But would it look good with my face shape?



Also, what color would be good on me?? I think a whitish gray-blonde is awesome, but I have a feeling it wouldn't go with my complexion?

I personally like blonde on you. A really rich dark color with a hue of red or purple is really nice too, it's what I have now, and I am naturally blonde and it looks good. I like your cut idea of an angled cut (short in the back) and like all one length. I think you could pull it off.

but if you really want to dye your hair black then say dye it black and keep the bangs the same and just cut the sides a little



also if u want to add color to black hair i'd say go with a retro color like hot pink or electric blue. but personally if i was you i'd go for hot pink

I am a stylist and I always say that you should do what you like....express yourself. As long as you arent intimidating elderly and scaring kids...Your idea is safe1 i think it sounds great! That haircut is quite popular so maybe you could add a streak of a different (abstract but same tonality) color...like a foil or two under some hair so you only can see a bit of it...They are called peek-a-boos! i hope this helps!
