New hair style for the first day of school! please help! Im not the best with choosing things!?

Ok, So Im going to be in the 8th grade. And I want a new hair style. AND possibly color. Ok So Im an asian. And i have TAN skin. So a lighter color hair.. would look kinda weird.. but what about a lighter brown? Right now my hair is shoulder length. dark brown. looks black in some light. With a bronzish blond ish streaks. I dont want really short hair. SO nothing to crazy! Please help! This would help me alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!New hair style for the first day of school! please help! Im not the best with choosing things!?
Dye it lighter or add in different highlights.

Caramel highlights would go good with your hair.

Try getting layers if you want.

get some messy layers and ask for them more towards the top should look rly cute bcuz it will look diff but you wont have to get rid of to much of your hair:)

oh and you would def look good dying your hair a lighter brown and if you wnt to make it a little more interesting ask for a littleee bit of red in it but not to much. jst a tint. lol. good luck:)
