Need a new hair style.?

So I am going to get my hair done soon and I am clueless on what to do to it. I really like the emo look but I'm not sure I could pull it off. How can I get something simalar without doing something so drastic?Need a new hair style.?

You can get a mullet. Not the one you see on Billy Ray Cyrus, but the Asian version. The Asian mullet just has lots of short layers (not too short, around the length of your ear) And the rest of you hair is long.
